Transport Planner, Permanent, £30,000 per annum, Hamilton

Requirements

• Experience in pallet picking and cubic meter pricing
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in transport or logistics planning (high-volume experience preferred)
• Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan all on-site and off-site transport operations
• Schedule and manage high-volume transport activity (5 x 18-ton vehicles out daily, 9 x 18-ton vehicles in daily)
• Liaise with drivers, clients, and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery
• Ensure full compliance with transport regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to meet delivery KPIs
• Utilize pallet picking experience and cubic meter pricing knowledge to optimize operations
