Electrician, Ayrshire, £24.00 per hour, OT paid at 1.5x, Temp to Perm.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver electrical services across a variety of commercial and industrial environments, including hazardous areas.
- Install, maintain, commission, and modify electrical systems, equipment, and services as required.
- Carry out inspections, testing, fault-finding, and repair of electrical breakdowns throughout plant operations.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, supporting other engineering tasks as directed by the Electrical Supervisor.
- Identify and report equipment faults or early signs of failure, ensuring timely corrective action.
- Follow safe isolation and de-isolation procedures in line with permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance, inspection, and modification documentation.
- Uphold high standards of housekeeping, safety, and engineering discipline at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
- Proven experience working in hazardous area environments.
- Strong skills and experience with cable containment systems.
- Up-to-date IEE Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Valid SJIB grade card.
- Full UK driving licence, essential for this mobile role.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently while on site.
