About The Role

Business Development Manager, Glasgow, up to £55,000 with Company Car and Commission.

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and strengthen our presence across the UK. You must have experience in the freight pallet networks and general haulage.  You must be results driven and capable of producing results with an excellent knowledge of the Scottish market place.

Business Development Managers key responsibilities:

  1. Drive new business working with new and existing clients
  2. Manage and grow key customer accounts, ensuring excellent service and repeat orders.
  3. Prepare quotations, proposals, and manage sales pipelines
  4. Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to support product and marketing initiatives.

The successful Business Development Manager will have:

  1. Proven B2B sales or business development experience,
  2. Confident communicator and presenter with strong relationship-building skills.
  3. Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  4. Strong negotiation skills and event/exhibition experience an advantage.
  5. Full UK driving licence required.
